We hit the road on Friday, October 30 - two days later than planned. The things to do and pack seemed like they would never end!
The first day of travelling was good and we slid through Hartford without any of the usual traffic or delays. Our first layover was in Salisbury Mills, New York at the farm of Mark Gisselbrecht who also had a ranch in Oklahoma. This one is for sale if anyone is interested.

Sorry - I didn't get any pics of the next stop near Pittsburgh, Pa. - probably too traumatized by the driveway into the place - it was like trying to drive up the roof of a barn!!! STEEEEP! and muddy. My tires were spinning and we ground to a hault half way up - had to put it into 4wheel drive and low gear to move forward. Very scary.
Ohio - Hocking State Forest - Palmerosa Horse Campground. We stayed here for two nights for a bit of r&r .

Ran into MUD trying to get into our campsite and had to unload the horses and use 4WD to get out!

Full moon over the riding ring/paddock.

Finally out of the mud and settled in.
