Ted, Mara, Chester, Freddy & Bounty's great adventure

After a short downpour in Conn. we saw a full rainbow before being stuck on Route 84 for over an hour because three big tractor trailers got tied up in a knot. It took 12 hours to get to our first stop thanks to the traffic accident and lots of road construction. but we were grateful. We could have BEEN in that accident if we hadn't stopped to refuel and give the horses a bite to eat!
Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania - 9/28/07 - Overnight stay

Here is our destination. Big place--over 100 horses, mostly race horses. Immaculate and very well run. The" boys" (our horses) were sure glad to stop moving. That's Lady, the guard dog. She was very serious about her job and we were glad when they tied her up.

Bounty is a little shook up by the whole thing--off his feed a bit this AM. But he didn't have any problem diving into the grass when we gave the "boys" a chance to have a bit of grass before leaving for Ohio.
